Properties: It is a kind of white briquettes with heavy irritant oder. Sp. gr. (solid) 1.48, m. p, 52.8ºC, b.p200ºC (760mmHg), also readily sublimates. It is soluble in alcohol, ether, acetone and slightly soluble in petroleum ether, carbon tetrachloride. It is soluble in water, forming maleic acid.
Uses: Manufacture of unsaturate polyester resin, alkyd resin, insulated paint, plasticicer, maleic acid, malic acid and tartaric acid, etc. It can be used antiseptic agent, also serve as the raw materials of medicine, pesticide, paint, glass steel and so on.
storage: stored in a cool, dry and fluent air place. Handling with care and gently, preventing from rain. Storage life is one year from date of production.
